CLIENT VICTORIES
People v. Betzdolt (Domestic Violence) 41B District Court Mt. Clemens

Jason's ex-wife came over to pick up their son. The problem was that she tried to break into the home, and had her punk boyfriend with her. They both lied to police, and Jason was charged with Domestic Violence. He was found NOT GUILTY.

Police Report

Melissa Travis, Jason’s ex wife, had come to his house in Mt. Clemens to pick up their son. She brought with her her boyfriend, Buddy Dale Miller II. Buddy was, and probably still is a punk. He would try to get Jason to hit him so that he could have Jason arrested. On September 24, 2006 Melissa Travis tried to forcibly enter Jason’s home. He stopped her by pushing her back with his hand. This left a bruise on her chest. Melissa and Buddy lied to the police and got Jason arrested for Domestic Violence. They told the police that Jason came charging out of the house and violently shoved her, throwing her down to the ground.

After the Macomb County Deputy Sheriff admitted that he “always arrests the man,” and I showed the jury that Melissa and Buddy were liars, Jason took the stand in his own defense.

Jason got off the stand and reenacted for the jury just how everything happened. After listening to the Jason it became an easy decision for his jury. They decided Jason was Not Guilty!
