Brian Ruddy Takes the Stand

(First part of the video is Brian's Mother Testifying)

Brian's Friends Testify

Brian had this great idea to turn an empty building into a haunted house for Halloween. Little did he know that his big idea would turn into a nightmare when he crossed paths with Officer John Sypnewski.

Joe Messina came down to the building and asked what Brian was doing and wanted to help. He worked for a couple of hours and brought an old Nintendo gaming system, Brian gave him $60. About ten minutes later Joe’s mom came storming into the building and threw the money at Brian stating “what kind of person gives a 12 year old boy $60 for a couple of hours work, I’ll tell you what kind, a pedophile.” Obviously this was very embarrassing for Brian and he told her to leave. This is when she calls the Howell police. Officer John Sypnewski is the man in charge. He comes down and does his “I am GOD, and above the law bullshit.” Brian tells him “fuck you pig.” Needless to say the cop and his buddies were a little offended. They promptly arrest Brian, and handcuff him. While handcuffed they decide to have a little fun. They take him and slam him on the front sidewalk and beat his ass. And then back at the jail they tied him into a “restraint chair” and put a hood over his head and left there for 8 hours. They thought they would get away with it. They didn’t..

I offered the prosecutor and the cop a way out before trial. I told them “drop the case and we will not sue the city and get the cop fired.” They laughed! Big mistake. After Brian was found “NOT GUILTY” of all charges we sued Howell and settled for a substantial amount of money with the condition that Sypnewski be fired. He was.
